Sandwich Panel Construction

Profibre is able to produce sandwich panels using a variety of external and core material to meet both the aesthetic and functional requirements of customers.

Products which are produced with this method include engine covers, partitions, roof and ceiling covers, to name but a few.

Material used in sandwich panels is not restricted to fibreglass and can include steel, aluminium, plastics and so on. Strong fire-proof panels are achieved using phenolic resins.

The advantage of this construction is that a relatively strong product can be achieved with a lightweight construction.
